the face behind CentralTXTC!
I'm  here to help Texas real estate agents take back their time by handling the compliance side of their transactions.

Hey there! I’m Raquel

I’m Puerto Rican by birth & heritage and a proud USAF military brat, which means I spent my adolescence moving from place to place. My dad’s final assignment brought us to Texas, where I finished high school (Del Valle, Class of 1988) before heading off to Southwest Texas State University (yep, I’m an OG SWTSU’er!) and earning my bachelor’s degree in Social Work. I spent several years as Comal ISD’s first School Social Worker at Canyon High School in New Braunfels before transitioning into real estate in 2015.

My husband, David, and I met on a blind date, and together we’ve blended our beautiful family—two daughters on his side, a son and daughter on mine, plus our growing crew of grandkids. We sold our home in New Braunfels in 2022 and moved to Yancey, Texas (which I’m convinced is the smallest town in the state) to build on family land. And by “build,” I mean we literally built our own home through U Build It while living in a 26-foot travel camper for 18 months—a true test of marriage, ha!

During that time, I took on the role of General Contractor, which was an adventure all on its own. Once the house was finished, I settled into country life—baking bread, growing herbs and vegetables, making a mean homemade latte, and even milking cows on occasion. But eventually, I realized something—I missed working.

For ten years, I thrived in real estate, building my business on relationships, referrals, and a deep love for helping people.

A little about me—

I knew going back into real estate sales wasn’t practical with how rural we are (it takes nearly an hour just to get to a highway!), so when an opportunity in transaction coordination came up, I took it—and I absolutely love it. After several months, life led me to go solo, and that’s how central txtc was born!

I was one of those rare agents who actually enjoyed the compliance side of the business. I love contracts. I read them and reread them. I keep a blank copy nearby at all times. Weird? Maybe. But that passion for the details is exactly what allows me to help agents like you stay compliant and focus on what really matters—growing your business.

I’m still a licensed real estate agent and an active member of NAR and TXR, so I get it—I know what it’s like to juggle transactions, client relationships, and the never-ending paperwork. Let me take the transaction management off your hands so you can do what you do best.

Here’s the thing—

I cannot recommend Raquel highly enough as a transaction coordinator! She played a crucial role in facilitating my recent transaction wit my buyer clients. From day one, she was organized, proactive, and attentive to every detail.  Raquel kept all parties informed, making sure nothing fell through the cracks. Her communication skills are top-notch, providing clarity at every step of the process. Thanks to Raquel, the transaction went smoothly, and my clients were extremely satisfied. If you're looking for someone who is dedicated, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with, look no further! Five stars without hesitation!"
